Visa found its new CEO

The global payment company, Visa Inc. appointed Charles Scharf as its new Chief Executive Officer to replace Joe Saunder who will retire in March 2013. Saunder still remain with Visa as executive chairman until his official retirement next year.

Scharf, 47 years old, has previously spent time running JP Morgan’s retail bank and was Managing Director at One Equity Partners which is a private investment arm of JP Morgan. He was considered a candidate to replace James Dimon as Chief Executive Office for JP Morgan.
