Visa has officially transitioned its Visa Direct stablecoin Capabilities from pilot testing to full commercial deployment, partnering with payments infrastructure provider Inyo Global. This integration enables businesses across more than 180 countries to prefund cross-border payouts in near real time using USDC.

MALAYSIA, 15 OCTOBER 2026 – Global payments leader Visa has officially launched the commercial phase of its stablecoin strategy, shifting Visa Direct stablecoin capabilities from experimental pilot status into live production. The strategic milestone signifies a major progression in integrating blockchain-driven money movement into everyday commercial operations worldwide.

Under the initial rollout, payment infrastructure provider Inyo Global serves as the first commercial enabler of this capability. By integrating Visa Direct stablecoin capabilities directly into its platform, Inyo enables money transmitters, fintech firms, banks, and payment processors to prefund cross-border payouts using USDC in near real time, moving beyond traditional banking operational hours.

Through a single API connection, Inyo Global supports client onboarding, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, payment acceptance, and international disbursements across more than 180 countries powered by the global Visa Direct network.

According to Vira Platonova, Global Head of Visa Direct, the industry focus surrounding stablecoins has shifted decisively toward practical market adoption. She highlighted that years of collaborative testing are now materializing into live implementations, offering global businesses greater liquidity flexibility and enhanced transaction speeds.

The commercial rollout follows successful pilot programs initiated in 2025, which validated how stablecoins can streamline international cross-border liquidity and settlement operations. Inyo Global Chief Product and Technology Officer Robson Dantas emphasized that providing round-the-clock payout prefunding via existing API infrastructure significantly enhances operational capabilities for fintechs and financial institutions.

As global demand grows for instant cross-border liquidity solutions, Visa plans to continue expanding stablecoin-enabled features across additional international payment channels.
