Aug 29, 2013 (Thu): Japanese’s Sumitomo Corp. was reported by The Japan News that has set up s subsidiary named Sumisho Ecommerce Malaysia Sdn Bhd to start online retail businesses in Malaysia. The company will start selling over 1,000 items online this coming December, including mineral water, cosmetics and other daily goods. The products sold will be increased to10,000 one year after.
Meanwhile, a report of Tuoitrenews said the company will also start online business in Vietnam through an acquisition of 30 per cent shares in Tiki.vn, a website selling mainly books online in Vietnam.
