Terry KS The rapid development in Internet has brought threats to the sovereignty of a country through cyber criminals and this have made our Information, Communications and Culture Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim raised the issue at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) World Telecom 2012 Conference and Exhibition which held in Dubai for 5 days.
Yatim said that this issue should be discussed globally to ensure an understanding which could lead to the formulation of global legislation on Internet especially to ensure the sovereignty of a country is protected.
