Sept 2, 2013 (Mon): The Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Total Auto Parts Solution Sdn Bhd (TAPSSB) on a pilot e-commerce system named TAPS for the automotive aftermarket industry, Business Times reported.
TAPS system is a comprehensive on-line and real-time marketplace for the trading of quality used parts and it allows motoring consumers purchase quality used parts with warranty.
TAPS is in line with the government directive to enhance businesses and good practices of the automotive aftermarket sector According to MAI Chief Executive Officer Madani Mohamad Sahari, the complete version of TAPS will be rolled out January next year.
