WhatsApp has introduced a new feature called “Keep in Chat” which allows users to retain important messages for future reference, without compromising their privacy. With this feature, users can keep specific texts in their chats while others disappear as per the disappearing messages setting. The sender will be notified when someone decides to keep a message, and they will have the power to veto the decision if they wish to do so.
This feature ensures that users have complete control over the messages they send and the ability to decide whether or not they can be kept for later use. Saved messages will be marked with a bookmark icon and can be easily accessed in the “Kept Messages” folder, organized by chat.
