KDU University College Deployed Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions to Support Growth in Student Population

June 23, 2014 (Mon): KDU University College (‘KDU’), a pioneer in Malaysian private education, has implemented Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions to streamline its administrative processes for improved student information and lifecycle management to support growth in student population.

The legacy information management system in the university was previously unable to integrate information from multiple campus departments to provide a holistic view of student activities. It also took a long period of time for student admission processing which hindered the campus users’ access for real-time and updated enrollment information.

With Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, KDU is able to improve information management for the entire university’s student lifecycle management whereby the student information will be seamlessly standardized to students, the records and admissions departments and other administrative offices.

Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions further improved the student user experience with an easy access to information, self-service applications, more convenient learning modes and streamlined student information systems from enrollment to alumni management.

Its dynamic user interface promotes student engagement and collaboration. Built on open standards, the solution facilitated KDU with communications and feedback mechanisms to gain the insights needed to retain students and help them achieve their goals in studies.

The modular structure of Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions offered KDU the capabilities to enhance strategic decision-making, facilitate more efficient information sharing between departments, and lessen the administrative burden.
