18 June 2024 – Hikvision, a global leader in video security solutions, marked a significant milestone with the grand unveiling of its upgraded LED display product lineup at the LED Displays Launch Event 2024. This event highlighted Hikvision’s substantial advancements in research and development, coupled with an impressive array of new products designed for various applications, including outdoor displays, creative displays, modules, and controllers.

A Decade of Innovation in the LED Market

Though widely recognized for its video security innovations, Hikvision’s foray into the LED market began over ten years ago. Leveraging its technological prowess, the company has expanded its product reach to over 150 countries, thanks to its robust digital manufacturing capabilities. With dual manufacturing bases in Tonglu and Wuhan, Hikvision boasts an annual production capacity exceeding 500,000 square meters, ensuring stringent quality management throughout the manufacturing process.

Revolutionary 5th Generation LED Cabinets

The highlight of the event was the debut of Hikvision’s 5th generation LED cabinets, which promise unparalleled performance and convenience. Featuring a sleek design with a thickness of just 29.3 mm and a weight of 17 kg/m², these cabinets combine elegance with durability. The innovative big board design allows for easier installations and versatile resolution options, supporting both horizontal and vertical wiring to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

The new LED cabinets incorporate a unified structure compatible with COB (chip on board), HOB (Hikvision glue on board), and SMD (surface mount device) technologies. This design minimizes product iteration costs and the risk of obsolete inventory. Additionally, the Ultra series ensures seamless pixel pitch replacement and color consistency, while the Solid Plus and Solid series offer durability, easy maintenance, and energy efficiency.

Comprehensive Ecosystem Upgrades

Beyond hardware advancements, Hikvision has also enhanced its LED controllers and software. The upgraded C series controllers support various HUB interface receiving cards, offering excellent value for channel customers. The flagship P series caters to diverse needs in information release and splicing control. Advanced video wall controllers are available for both small monitoring setups and large command centers.

Hikvision’s LED software suite includes web-based configuration tools for all LED controllers and an advanced LED batch controller for managing multiple units simultaneously. For complex advertising needs, HikCentral FocSign provides detailed scheduling, comprehensive workflows, and centralized status monitoring.

The company’s LED product line has been enhanced across indoor and outdoor applications. The indoor Flex and Value series have been upgraded to better serve retail environments, while the outdoor LumiUltra, LumiFit, and LumiSquare series now offer a broader range of pitch, brightness, and affordability options. Hikvision’s self-developed LED modules cater to diverse scenarios, including indoor, outdoor, soft, and cut-edge models.
