Sept 24, 2013 (Tue): The recent study published by VISA shows the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is the fastest growing e-commerce region worldwide with a growth rate 45 per cent, Daily News Egypt reported. The total e-commerce sales in the region reached US$15 billion in 2012 from US$10 billion in 2011. Egypt had the highest e-commerce sales in the region with US$3.2 billion followed by UAE (US$2.8 billion).
