E-retailers will spend more on online marketing this holiday season
The recent survey titled “Loading the Sleigh: Marketers’ Plans & Expectations for the Holiday Season” conducted by Retail Systems Research revealed that 21 per cent of the participating e-commerce merchants said they would ‘significantly’ increase their online marketing budget while 22 per cent of them plan to slightly increase the budget. Majority or 87 per cent of the respondents saying email marketing is their preferred online marketing tool.
Total of 179 respondents participated in this survey and most of them with annual sales of between US$51 million (RM155 million) and US$999 million (RM3,036 million).
