The Digital Niaga Program was officially launched in Bandar Tun Razak, led by MP Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. KUALA LUMPUR, 3 July 2023 – The Digital Niaga Program was officially launched by the Member of Parliament for Bandar Tun Razak, Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, in a ceremony held at the International Youth Center. Over 300 Micro Small Medium Enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs and business owners attended the event to celebrate the program’s inauguration.
The Digital Niaga Program, a collaborative effort between relevant government agencies, banking institutions, and the leading B2B e-commerce platform Dropee, aims to provide local entrepreneurs with streamlined access to financing facilities and training programs. By leveraging Dropee’s advanced technology and extensive network, Digital Niaga empowers MSMEs to kickstart their growth and overcome challenges in obtaining credit from traditional banks.
Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail highlighted the program’s benefits in her opening speech, emphasizing its role in assisting MSME entrepreneurs to manage their businesses more efficiently. Through market access, credit financing, and improved invoicing via digitization, Digital Niaga equips entrepreneurs with the tools necessary to thrive in today’s rapidly changing digital landscape.
