Jan 6, 2014 (Mon): The music industry magazine Billboard has reported that individual song downloads dropped from 1.34 billion in 2012 to 1.26 billion in 2013 and it was the largest drop since the launch of the iTunes store in 2003. The digital music sales also were reported fell 5.7% last year. According to the experts, the growth in online music streaming revenue was offsetting the decline in music downloads.
