This marks a sharp increase from the previous year when 61% of healthcare organizations reported their data being encrypted. Furthermore, the report indicates that only 24% of healthcare organizations managed to thwart a ransomware attack before the attackers encrypted their data, a significant decline from the 34% reported in 2022.
