25 April 2024 – Casio Computer Co., Ltd. unveils the latest additions to its renowned line of BABY-G shock-resistant watches with the release of the new BGD-10K series, featuring four vibrant models that double as both wristwatches and unique time-telling charms. This innovative release, the BGD-10K, boasts a colorful pop design and comes paired with a special holder with a strap, offering versatility in both function and style.

The BGD-10K series introduces a shock-resistant watch in a lively pop design, accompanied by a special holder with a strap, providing users with two distinct ways to wear their timepiece. By detaching the bezel and band and placing the center case into the unique holder, the watch can be transformed into a charming accessory that can be hung from a bag or belt, offering a personalized touch with the ability to decorate the silicone holder with stickers and other adornments.

Inspired by the trendy colors of Y2K fashion, the watch and holder set come in vibrant pop color variations, adding a playful touch to any ensemble. Furthermore, by pressing the light button in Timekeeping Mode, users can enjoy a series of pixel-art animations randomly displayed on the LCD screen, enhancing the watch’s appeal.

The BGD-10K marks the debut of the BABY-G+PLUS line, a series of BABY-G watches that Casio is introducing with customizable items, allowing users to tailor their accessories to their personal style preferences.

In celebration of the brand’s 30th anniversary, Casio is thrilled to announce that the popular Sanrio character, Kuromi, will serve as the official ambassador for BABY-G.
