Zscaler Names Sanjay Yadave as Senior Vice President for APJ to Drive Regional Growth in AI Era

Cloud security leader Zscaler has appointed Sanjay Yadave as Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan to lead its business strategy and investment across key regional markets. The promotion aims to accelerate growth across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Greater China as enterprises rapidly scale agentic AI technologies.

SINGAPORE, 5 OCTOBER 2026 – Cybersecurity platform leader Zscaler, Inc. has announced the promotion of Sanjay Yadave to Senior Vice President for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region as the company expands its regional operations to support rapid enterprise adoption of agentic artificial intelligence.

Yadave, who previously served as Vice President and Managing Director for Greater Asia, will oversee Zscaler’s business strategy, talent development, and investment across key APJ markets, including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and the Greater China Region.

During his two-year tenure leading Greater Asia, Yadave oversaw significant operational expansion, including launching a new regional office in Singapore and expanding data center offerings across South Korea, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Under his leadership, the company established key partnerships with regional enterprises such as BDO Bank, Korea Zinc, International SOS, PT Bank Hibank, and NCS.

Ross Tackett, Chief Revenue Officer at Zscaler, highlighted Yadave’s track record in delivering measurable results and building high-performing teams, emphasizing that his leadership comes at a crucial time as organizations across APJ require specialized security infrastructure for scaling agentic AI.

Commenting on his appointment, Yadave noted that enterprise focus in the region has rapidly shifted from AI experimentation to deployment. He stated that securing, governing, and establishing trust for autonomous AI agents remains essential for modern digital operations across the Asia Pacific and Japan market.
