WePlay organised a charity visit to a Kuala Lumpur orphanage, delivering aid and engaging with children through meaningful cultural exchange. The initiative reflects the platform’s growing commitment to social responsibility and community impact.

MALAYSIA, 18 MARCH 2026 – WePlay hosted a charity initiative in Kuala Lumpur on 3 March 2026, reinforcing its commitment to corporate social responsibility through a community outreach programme supporting underprivileged children.

The visit took place at Pusat Jagaan Rumah Bakti Nur Syaheera, an orphanage dedicated to providing care and developmental support for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The organisation plays a key role in creating a stable and nurturing environment for its residents.

During the programme, the WePlay team spent time interacting with the children while contributing essential daily supplies to support their needs. Despite the modest condition of the facility, the children welcomed the visitors warmly, creating a positive and uplifting atmosphere throughout the visit.

A notable highlight of the event was the cultural exchange between the team and the children. Several young girls greeted the visitors with “Salim,” a traditional Malaysian gesture of respect where the hand is lightly touched to the forehead. The moment underscored the importance of cultural appreciation and added a personal, heartfelt dimension to the initiative.

Through this outreach, WePlay not only extended material support but also fostered meaningful human connections, reflecting its broader mission to spread positivity and compassion across communities.
