Terry KS SINGAPORE, 6 JULY 2026 – vivo has officially launched the Y31s 5G in Singapore, positioning the device as a well-rounded 5G smartphone aimed at everyday users who want a dependable mix of display quality, camera performance and battery life without a premium price tag. The phone features a 90Hz High-Brightness FHD Dotch Display designed to improve clarity and scrolling smoothness across streaming, gaming and browsing. On the imaging side, vivo has significantly upgraded the front camera to 32MP, a sharp jump from the 8MP selfie shooter on the previous generation, while the rear setup includes a 50MP HD main camera. The Y31s 5G also supports underwater photography, letting users shoot in wet conditions.
Battery life is anchored by a 6500mAh BlueVolt battery paired with 44W FlashCharge for quick top-ups, along with reverse charging support for powering other compatible devices. vivo says the battery is engineered for 5-Year Battery Health to maintain performance over time.
Under the hood, the device runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, built on a 4nm process for better power efficiency. It comes with up to 6GB of extended RAM, 256GB of storage and vivo’s latest OriginOS 6 software, which the company says contributes to a 50-Month Smooth Experience for sustained performance. Dual stereo speakers with up to 400% volume round out the entertainment features.
On durability, the Y31s 5G is 8.39mm thin and weighs about 209g, while carrying IP69-rated dust and water resistance and SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance certification for added protection against everyday accidents.
The vivo Y31s 5G is available now in Singapore in Glowing Black and Midnight KL Purple, priced at S$399 for the 6GB plus 256GB variant. It can be purchased at the vivo Experience and Service Store at 313@Somerset, or through Shopee, Lazada, TikTok and authorised retailers.
Alongside the new launch, vivo is running a limited-time July promotion on its X300 series, with the X300 discounted by S$100 to S$1,199 and the X300 FE reduced by S$50 to S$1,049.
