25 April 2024 – Visa, a leading global digital payments company, has announced its collaboration with AWS (Amazon Web Services) to bring its services to the AWS Partner Network (APN). This partnership aims to streamline transactions and provide easier access to Visa services for clients and partners, particularly benefiting cloud-native fintechs.
Through this collaboration, Visa will make select payment services available in the AWS Marketplace, including Visa Cross-Border Solutions, which facilitates global money transfers and currency handling. This move aligns with Visa’s commitment to simplifying payments and reducing challenges for financial institutions and enterprises in the digital age.
Visa’s presence in the AWS Partner Network allows for secure connectivity with VisaNet through AWS Privatelink, enhancing cloud-based payment processing capabilities. Additionally, Visa is now part of AWS Activate, offering fintech startups enrolled in the Visa Fintech Fast Track program up to $100,000 in AWS Activate credits to accelerate their growth.
Merusha Naidu, Global Head of Partnerships at Paymentology, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the benefits it brings to startups and enterprises alike. The collaboration between Visa and AWS is set to empower startups with fintech solutions, making financial apps in the cloud more accessible, secure, and user-friendly.
