Thu, May 30, 2013: VISA on Tuesday launched mobile payment solution mPOS (mobile point-of-sale) for smaller-scale retailers and individual merchants in Taiwan to accept credit card on-the-go, the China Post reported. Currently the company is in talks with few major financial institutions in Taiwan including Fubon Bank, Cathay Bank, and Bank Sinopac to adopt the system for taxis, insurance carriers, and courier operators.
