Vietnam’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) said there are 520,000 enterprises registered in the country. 100 per cent of them owing at least an information website but only 19 per cent reported to use their websites to promote their companies’ images and products, according to recent survey. VCCI aims to have 80 per cent of the businesses nationwide would host either business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-customer (B2C) platform by 2015 seem a long way to go and more efforts required to achieve the target such as online education and training. Surprisingly many businesses (46%) still not sure the purposes of using e-mails, according to the survey.
