April 7, 2014 (Mon): Bitcoin Vietnam Ltd. Co. (Bit2C), an Israel-based bitcoin trading floor will be stopped by Vietnamese government to offer its services in Vietnam after Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) said “the trading floor” has not been registered legally in the country, VietNamNet Bridge reports. The State Bank of Vietnam recently also announced bitcoin and other virtual currencies are not legal tender or a permitted means of payment in Vietnam.
