VidMage Rolls Out Major Engine Upgrade for AI Face Swap Tools, Boosting Realism and Multi-Face Video Accuracy

AI face swap platform VidMage has launched an upgraded engine that improves realism by 32.8% and reduces frame-to-frame drift by 68.3% across photo and video face swap tools. The update targets creators, marketers and UGC editors who need stable, natural-looking face swaps in motion and group scenes.

SINGAPORE, 30 JUNE 2026 – Prominent Fortune Pte. Ltd., operator of AI face swap platform VidMage, has announced an engine upgrade covering its full suite of tools, including photo face swap, video face swap, multiple face swap for both photos and videos, batch workflows, GIF face swap, Mac face swap, live face swap and facial feature swap.

In internal benchmark testing comparing the upgraded engine against its previous version, VidMage evaluated 3,850 photos and 1,480 video clips, including 589 multi-face videos. The company reported that human-rated realism improved by 32.8%, expression retention improved by 27.9%, and frame-to-frame drift was reduced by 68.3%. The multi-face video success rate rose from 89.2% to 93.4%. VidMage said the platform now supports up to four faces per clip, with 94.8% correct face tracking accuracy in group scenes. Photo swaps average 4.8 seconds, while 30-second video swaps average 45 seconds to process.

The upgrade centres on the technical elements that determine how convincing a face swap appears in motion, including facial structure matching, skin tone blending, lighting adaptation, edge blending, expression retention and frame-to-frame stability. VidMage said the improvements are aimed at TikTok creators, YouTube Shorts producers, meme page operators, user-generated content ad editors and marketers, with the goal of reducing drifting faces and producing more natural expressions and stable group scenes for short-form video, memes, creator-led advertising and campaign variants.

For teams publishing content on a weekly basis, the company said the speed and stability improvements should make iteration easier, allowing editors to test more faces, hooks and group scenes before settling on a final clip, while marketers can produce cleaner paid social variants without a full manual edit or reshoot.

Taylor Lei, Growth Director of VidMage, said creators need face swaps that remain natural through motion, expression changes, lighting shifts and group scenes, adding that the company’s goal is to make realistic video face swapping reliable enough for repeat production rather than one-off demonstrations.

VidMage said privacy protections remain a core part of its platform. Files uploaded through the browser are deleted from VidMage’s servers within two hours, while its Mac application keeps media processing on the local device. The company also said user photos, videos, prompts and generated media are not used for AI model training.
