MALAYSIA, 10 SEPTEMBER 2026 – Global digital business services firm TP has announced the launch of its newest operations center in Johor Bahru, broadening its footprint in Malaysia while reinforcing its delivery model for organizations in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian region.
The new facility adds to the company’s existing sites in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, establishing a unified national presence and creating a nearshore delivery hub for customer experience management, revenue services, and digital operations. Located directly across the Causeway from Singapore, the site offers geographical proximity and operational flexibility for key sectors, including banking, fintech, travel, and hospitality. Positioned within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), the hub caters to growing demand from multinational corporations, Singapore-headquartered enterprises, and global business services (GBS) centers.
TP in Malaysia Chief Executive Officer Andy Rangel stated that the expansion represents a significant milestone in the group’s regional growth strategy. He highlighted that Johor Bahru provides access to exceptional multilingual talent alongside a resilient nearshore proposition for Singapore-based enterprises seeking agility and scalability. He added that as artificial intelligence continues to transform customer experience, the location will play a pivotal role in combining technology with human expertise.
Malaysia’s position as a digital services destination continues to strengthen, driven by the expansion of its GBS sector. According to data from the Ministry of Digital, Malaysia hosts 749 GBS companies, with total industry revenue projected to reach RM28.14 billion. This trajectory highlights the country’s robust digital infrastructure, investment appeal, and deep talent pool, with Johor emerging as a prominent economic hub for tech-enabled cross-border operations.
The expansion also supports TP’s talent strategy by generating new workforce opportunities in customer experience, digital service delivery, and AI implementation. The facility will initially serve a major global e-commerce enterprise, with plans to expand its Revenue as a Service capabilities to help clients scale their sales and revenue pipelines using specialized talent and AI-driven solutions.
