9 July 2024 – Five innovative startups emerged victorious at the Tegas Pre-Accelerator Bootcamp (TPAB) 2024 Demo Day, announced yesterday. The winners, OINC Sdn Bhd, Opah Cooperative, Toclan Agrotech Company, Borneo Glamping, and Teduh Jiwa Counseling and Consultancy, were recognized for their outstanding contributions and innovative solutions.
These winners will benefit from free access to the Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (Tegas) Digital Village in Kuching and the Tegas Digital Innovation Hubs in Bintulu and Miri. The announcement was made by Tegas Chairman Datu Len Talif Salleh, who emphasized the comprehensive support the winners will receive, including corporate backing from Tegas and Essential in Sarawak Cloud.
“I am happy to announce that the Top 5 winners of TPAB 2024 Demo Day Batch #6 will each receive a special prize award from our partner Cradle, through the MYStartup Sarawak initiative, worth RM2,500,” said Datu Len Talif Salleh during his speech at the Tegas Digital Village.
Datu Len Talif highlighted Tegas’s ongoing commitment to empowering startups and enhancing the digital innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem through public-private partnerships. “Our programmes are designed to provide startups with the necessary resources, mentoring, and networking opportunities to excel. Towards this end, we intend to foster innovation and support the development of technology that can drive significant impact and growth,” he added.
He expressed optimism that the initiative, in collaboration with Tegas ecosystem partners such as Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd and WatchTower and Friends, would elevate Sarawakian businesses to new heights.
