Aug 1, 2013 (Thu): Vietnam’s TienPhong Bank launched its new eGold service yesterday and becomes the first bank to provide online gold trading in the country, Biz Hub reported. The eGold service allows customers to trade gold bars as well as gold rings through internet and mobile banking channels. Once the transaction was completed, customers can receive the gold at the bank. The service aims to reduce costs and limit risk in gold transactions.
TienPhongBank is a bank of Vietnam. It was founded by the Vietnamese government, the FPT Corporation, Vietnam Mobile Services and Vietnam National Reinsurance.
