July 31, 2013 (Wed): BitGive Foundation, the first Bitcoin charity was launched officially, according to an announcement by Bitcoin Magazine. BitGive is a non-profit foundation accepting donations from the Bitcoin community and offering charitable gifts to environmental and public health causes worldwide on behalf of the community.
