Tesco launches online groceries shopping in Shanghai

Tue, Jul 2, 2013: Tesco China has recently launched its e-commerce site (http://elegou.cn.tesco.com/) to offer online shopping for grocery products such as food and beverages, vegetables, fruits and daily products to Shanghai consumers. According to the Inside Retail Asia, the online expansion is influenced by the e-commerce ventures by its competitors such as Carrefour, NGS Supermarket and Walmart in China.
