Tealium has launched its platform on the AWS Singapore Region to help organisations across Asia-Pacific meet data governance, privacy and performance requirements. The move supports growing demand for locally governed data infrastructure as AI adoption accelerates across the region.

SINGAPORE, 5 MARCH 2026 – Tealium has announced the launch of its platform on the AWS Singapore Region, strengthening its presence in Asia-Pacific and enabling organisations to address increasing demands for data governance, privacy protection and high-performance infrastructure as artificial intelligence adoption accelerates.

The expansion comes as governments across Southeast Asia introduce stricter regulations surrounding data collection, consent management and cross-border data transfers. Businesses are now under greater pressure to demonstrate responsible data practices while continuing to drive innovation through digital transformation and AI technologies.

By operating within the Singapore region of Amazon Web Services, Tealium aims to help organisations meet local data residency and compliance requirements, including Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act. The regional deployment also provides lower latency and improved real-time performance for AI-driven customer engagement, analytics and data processing.

According to Jeff Lunsford, Chief Executive Officer of Tealium, trust and governance are becoming critical factors as companies increasingly rely on data to power AI-driven decisions. By enabling organisations to manage and activate their data locally, the company aims to support compliance while allowing businesses to move faster with digital innovation.

The platform leverages the regional cloud infrastructure of Amazon Web Services to securely collect, process and activate customer data within the region. This capability allows organisations to run analytics workloads, AI models and customer engagement applications using locally governed data streams while maintaining scalability and operational flexibility.

The deployment also helps organisations transition from experimental AI projects to production-ready implementations. With trusted data infrastructure in place, businesses can more confidently develop advanced analytics, automation and AI-powered customer experiences.

Peter Murray, Head of Go-To-Market for Asia-Pacific and Japan at Tealium, said the regional deployment provides organisations with greater flexibility to innovate with data while meeting strict data residency requirements. He added that data-driven innovation and secure infrastructure are becoming fundamental components of the digital economy.

Tealium is part of the AWS Partner Network and holds several AWS certifications, including competencies in generative AI and financial services technology. These recognitions highlight the company’s ability to deliver scalable and secure data solutions built on the AWS ecosystem.

The company has been expanding rapidly across Asia-Pacific, supporting organisations in sectors such as retail, financial services, travel, healthcare and higher education. As regulatory environments become more complex and digital transformation accelerates, the company aims to help enterprises build stronger data foundations for AI and customer engagement initiatives.

The Tealium deployment on the AWS Singapore Region is now available and supports the company’s full suite of customer data platform capabilities.
