Tapway and Asteria Launch AIoT Suite to Revolutionize Manufacturing Automation with Vision AI and No-Code IoT

Tapway Sdn. Bhd. and Asteria Corporation have launched the AIoT Suite, a one-stop platform combining Vision AI and no-code IoT to automate manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and address labor shortages. Available in Japanese and English, the solution targets manufacturers in Japan and Southeast Asia, aiming for 100 million yen in sales within two years.

3 December 2024 – Kuala Lumpur-based Tapway Sdn. Bhd., a leader in Vision AI software solutions, has partnered with Tokyo’s Asteria Corporation to unveil the AIoT Suite, a comprehensive platform integrating Tapway’s SamurAI Vision AI software with Asteria’s Gravio no-code IoT solution. The AIoT Suite, offered on a subscription basis, empowers businesses to automate critical tasks such as quality control on production lines, personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) monitoring in warehouses.

The platform utilizes Vision AI to capture real-time data through cameras, identifying issues and automating responses using IoT devices—all without requiring any coding. This innovation addresses labor shortages and enhances operational efficiency, making it a timely solution for the challenges faced by modern manufacturers.

The Japanese version of the AIoT Suite was launched on November 27, targeting manufacturers in Japan. An English version has been available since July, catering to manufacturing industries across Southeast Asia and Japan.

Tapway CEO Lim Chee How emphasized the platform’s value, stating, “Many manufacturers face challenges in analyzing data from disparate systems and developing AI models due to technical and financial constraints. AIoT Suite consolidates these efforts into a single, user-friendly platform.”

Asteria CEO Yoichiro Hirano expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “This collaboration with Tapway enables us to deliver an innovative solution that tackles pressing challenges for Japanese manufacturers. AIoT Suite’s success in Southeast Asia gives us confidence it will set a new standard in AI and IoT integration.”

With a sales target of 100 million yen over the next two years, Asteria and Tapway are committed to expanding the reach of AIoT Suite across Japan and international markets. The platform allows users to build AI inference models, seamlessly manage data across systems, and achieve operational excellence. It is available through Asteria’s Gravio product website at www.gravio.com/jp/aiotsuite.
