Taobao Malaysia is rolling out a month-long Raya 2026 campaign featuring curated home essentials, exclusive rewards and sitewide discounts to help Malaysians prepare for the festive season. The platform will also host a three-day Taobao Pesta Raya at MyTOWN Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur to bring the celebration offline.
MALAYSIA, 4 MARCH 2026 – As Hari Raya approaches, Malaysian households are gearing up for open houses, family reunions and festive feasts. In response to the seasonal demand for stylish and practical home solutions, Taobao Malaysia has launched its Raya 2026 campaign, combining curated home essentials with exclusive promotions and an on-ground celebration.
Since introducing its English and Bahasa Malaysia interfaces in 2024, Taobao Malaysia has recorded steady double-digit monthly traffic growth. The platform revealed that new users from its multilingual interfaces now account for more than half of total new sign-ups, reflecting a growing preference among Malaysians for localised and accessible online shopping experiences.
Running from 24 February to 20 March 2026, the Raya campaign is designed to simplify festive preparations while keeping style and affordability in focus. According to Jess Lew, Country Head of Taobao Malaysia, the initiative aims to make redecorating, organising and hosting more convenient and enjoyable for families preparing to welcome guests.
Throughout the campaign period, shoppers can explore a curated range of practical home products, including food storage organisers, modern table lamps, movable side tables, kitchen tool organisers and foldable kids’ closets. The selection is tailored to help households create warm, welcoming spaces for gatherings.
In conjunction with the festive season, Taobao Malaysia is offering a series of promotions. These include up to RM60 in exclusive new user rewards, 12 percent sitewide discounts on selected products until 9 March 2026, and free shipping for orders above RM119. Additional incentives include instant payment rebates of up to RM35 for eligible transactions via RHB Bank credit cards and daily payment service fee waivers during the promotional period.
Beyond online deals, Taobao Malaysia will extend the Raya spirit offline with Taobao Pesta Raya, a three-day activation from 13 to 15 March 2026 at MyTOWN Shopping Centre. The event will feature interactive activities, curated festive home styling showcases and a Snap, Post and Win contest offering limited-edition Taobao gifts.
By integrating digital promotions with an on-ground festive experience, Taobao Malaysia aims to inspire Malaysians to prepare homes that are Raya-ready, filled with comfort, joy and togetherness.
