May 28, 2014 (Wed): The report – Mobile Wallets: Strategies for Developed and Developing Markets 2014-2019 revealed that 1 in 5 mobile phones will have mobile wallet functionality by 2018, against less than 1 in 10 at the end of last year. The growth would be driven by SVAs (Stored value Accounts), Apple iWallet (which will be launched end of this year), HCE (Host Card Emulation)-based NFC (Near Field Communications) Services and P2P (Person to Person) payment.
