The successful collaboration has demonstrated strong customer growth and will now expand to Malaysia after its successful rollout in Singapore and Indonesia.
SINGAPORE, 6 July 2023 – Standard Chartered Singapore and Atome, the buy now pay later platform, are pleased to announce a significant milestone of 100,000 transactions under their Lender of Record partnership that commenced in April 2023. The success has prompted plans for further expansion as the two companies collaborate to offer mobile-first consumer payment solutions and financial services.
The partnership between Standard Chartered and Atome aims to co-create and provide a comprehensive range of mobile-centric consumer payment solutions and financial services. The collaboration has yielded impressive early results, showcasing substantial customer growth and positioning Standard Chartered to surpass its 20% target customer growth for its unsecured loans business by the end of 2023.
To celebrate the launch, Atome customers who also become new Standard Chartered credit card holders will receive S$250 in Atome+ points upon successful card activation. Additionally, customers have the opportunity to participate in the 1 million KrisFlyer Miles Giveaway. Cardholders of the Standard Chartered Journey Credit Card, the bank’s new mass-affluent miles credit card, can earn bonus chances for the giveaway.
Following the successful rollout in Singapore and Indonesia, Standard Chartered and Atome are preparing to launch their partnership in Malaysia, further expanding their footprint and extending the benefits of their collaboration to a wider audience.
