Smartee Denti-Technology has officially launched in Malaysia, marking its expansion into a fast-growing orthodontic market. The move is supported by clinical education initiatives and advanced AI-driven treatment technologies.

MALAYSIA, 28 MARCH 2026 – Smartee Denti-Technology has announced its official entry into Malaysia, reinforcing its global expansion strategy with a focus on Southeast Asia’s rapidly evolving orthodontic sector. The launch was marked by a full-day clinical conference held at Hilton Kuala Lumpur on 16 March, attended by more than 70 dental professionals, including orthodontists, general practitioners, and academic representatives.

The expansion comes amid rising demand for clear aligner solutions in Malaysia, driven by increasing awareness of dental aesthetics, higher disposable incomes, and ongoing advancements in orthodontic technologies. Urban centres such as Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Johor Bahru have seen strong adoption of invisible orthodontics, as patients seek more discreet and efficient alternatives to traditional braces.

The conference featured a comprehensive clinical programme led by Dr. Vicente Torres, who introduced Smartee’s full product ecosystem, including the GS, Alpha, GE, Teen, and Kinder aligner series. The sessions focused on advanced orthodontic biomechanics, highlighting capabilities such as precise root control, torque customisation, and integration with Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs).

A key highlight was the demonstration of Smartee’s proprietary AI-powered tools within its SmarteeCheck software, including Live 3D and Live Update features. These technologies enable real-time treatment planning and 3D adjustments, allowing clinicians to optimise alignment strategies while maintaining full control over clinical decisions.

The programme also emphasised treatment predictability, outlining structured clinical protocols across sagittal, vertical, and transverse dimensions. By incorporating considerations such as patient age, bone biology, and malocclusion types, the sessions aimed to equip Malaysian practitioners with the expertise needed to deliver consistent and biologically sound outcomes.

Smartee’s entry signals a long-term commitment to the Malaysian market. Backed by a global network of over 99,000 partner doctors across 57 countries and multiple production facilities in regions including China and Spain, the company is positioning itself as a strategic partner in advancing orthodontic care standards locally.

According to Garie Zhou, Director of International Business and Business Development at Smartee, the company aims to go beyond product offerings by providing continuous clinical education, robust biomechanical frameworks, and technological innovation to support practitioners in delivering more predictable and efficient treatments.
