Singapore’s Luxola.com eyeing expansion into Asia
Singapore based e-commerce site, Luxola.com is aiming to become the premier online cosmetic and skin care store in Asia after it has raised fund of USD 590,000 (or about MYR 1.8 million) from Wavemaker Labs, a Singapore based investment firm and the National Research Foundation (NRF).
Luxola was kicked start by its founder and Chief Executive Officer, Alexis Horowitz-Burdick in September 2011 after he raised USD 400,000 (or about MYR 1.2 million) from angel investor. “We are thrilled to be the first online luxury cosmetic and skin-care site in Singapore as well as the first to be 100% backed by every brand we work with, ensuring our customers are receiving authentic products each and every time they order,” Alexis said.
