Singapore-headquartered adtech firm Lacuna has officially registered under IAB Europe’s Transparency & Consent Framework as Vendor ID 1648 to enhance data privacy and user consent standards. This strategic step reinforces responsible growth and cross-border trust across its programmatic ad exchange and demand-side optimization platforms as it expands in European markets.

SINGAPORE, 19 OCTOBER 2026 – Singapore-based programmatic advertising technology firm Lacuna today announced its official registration with IAB Europe’s Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) as a verified vendor, securing listing on the Global Vendor List (GVL) under Vendor ID 1648. The move represents a concrete measure to enhance transparency, regulatory accountability, and user choice across European programmatic advertising ecosystems.

Lacuna Ads operates a comprehensive programmatic ecosystem comprising an ad exchange, an intelligent demand-side optimization engine, and a full-stack self-service SaaS platform. Powered by owned-and-operated inventory and direct publisher network relationships, the platform bridges global supply and demand through data intelligence to deliver measurable real-time outcomes. As the company expands its footprint across European markets, maintaining high data governance standards remains central to its operational roadmap.

Launched in April 2018, the TCF serves as an industry-led cross-sector standard designed to assist digital advertising platforms in complying with key provisions of the ePrivacy Directive and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The framework incorporates directives from the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) and national data protection authorities to standardise consent protocols between first-party publishers and third-party adtech vendors.

Through the framework, internet users gain clear mechanisms to grant, withhold, or object to personal data processing. It establishes practical operational baselines to inform users, manage privacy preferences, and ensure ad networks respect user choices at scale.

Michael Wang, Chief Executive Officer of Lacuna, stated that programmatic growth and user privacy must advance hand in hand. He noted that Lacuna aims to serve as a catalyst for an intelligent programmatic ecosystem anchored in transparent value exchange, with the TCF offering a shared operational foundation for user accountability and responsible design.

Moving forward, Lacuna will align its underlying technical infrastructure with updated TCF policies and technical requirements. The effort aims to ensure consistent signal processing for user consent and objections across its global adtech suite.
