In 2012, the total digital information worldwide was estimated at 2.7 zettabytes. This has increased by almost 50% since 2011. BanSeng Teh, Seagate’s senior vice president and managing director for Asia Pacific and Japan predicted cloud computing and mobile connectivity will continue to grow in 2013. He added that mobile lifestyle will become stronger not only among the consumers, it does happen at enterprise level and the user experience will be enhanced by thin and light notebook as well as operating systems incorporated with touch, keyboard, pen, voice and gesture.
