Russian Tech Firm ATLAS Unveils Integrated Storage-Security Platform ATLAS.X Secure at INNOPROM 2026, Eyes Global South Markets

Russian company ATLAS presented ATLAS.X Secure Powered by TRIADIX at INNOPROM 2026, a system that combines fault-tolerant data storage with cyberthreat protection in a single architecture rather than as separate bolt-on components. The solution targets critical infrastructure sectors across Russia and partner countries in Africa and Asia, aiming to close security gaps that typically emerge when storage and protection systems are managed by different vendors.

MALAYSIA, 27 JULY 2026 – Russian technology company ATLAS, serving as an industry partner of the forum, presented ATLAS.X Secure Powered by TRIADIX to visiting Russian and international delegations at INNOPROM, the country’s principal international industrial exhibition. The company designed the solution not only for the domestic market but for IT infrastructure across Russia’s partner and friendly countries in Africa, Asia, and beyond.

INNOPROM is held annually in Yekaterinburg under the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and has run since 2010, serving as the country’s largest platform for showcasing industrial technology and building international trade ties. The 2026 edition, held July 6 to 9, drew roughly 900 companies and delegations from more than 50 countries, with Indonesia serving as the fair’s official partner country this year.

ATLAS.X Secure is described as the first Russian-made system in which fault-tolerant data-storage hardware and cyberthreat-protection tools are built into a single architecture rather than added as a separate external module. The product addresses a common weakness in corporate IT infrastructure, where storage and information-security systems are typically designed, deployed, and maintained in isolation by different vendors. That separation creates a gap at the point where the two systems meet, an area often lacking clear ownership and frequently exploited as an entry point for ransomware and data-exfiltration attacks. By designing storage and protection together from the outset, ATLAS.X Secure aims to close that gap and remove the need for customers to integrate separate security and storage products themselves.

Timur Mustafaev, CEO of ATLAS, said the company’s long experience in data storage has shown that the most dangerous vulnerabilities typically emerge not within the storage or security systems themselves, but in the seam between them, a zone that often ends up belonging to no one. He said ATLAS.X Secure addresses this by building cyberthreat protection into the storage architecture itself rather than treating it as an add-on, and that the company chose to present the product at a forum bringing together Russian companies and partners from friendly countries abroad because data protection is a challenge facing every country’s infrastructure.

The solution is designed for IT infrastructure of any scale but is aimed primarily at critical information infrastructure, including industry, energy, transport, and finance, as well as government information systems and corporate data centers. Its development combined ATLAS’s experience in fault-tolerant storage systems with TRIADIX’s expertise in cybersecurity, including penetration testing, incident monitoring, and IT infrastructure audits.

Why it matters beyond Russia

Governments and enterprises across Africa, Asia, and Southeast Asia are currently expanding critical digital infrastructure, from power grids and transport networks to banking systems and e-government platforms, often at a pace that outstrips the availability of specialized cybersecurity staff. In many of these markets, storage and security are still purchased, deployed, and patched separately, which is the gap ATLAS.X Secure is designed to close. Because protection is built into the storage architecture itself, organizations may need fewer specialists to integrate and maintain separate systems, reducing the opportunities for gaps to appear between vendors.

The product also reflects a broader trend of technology diversification, as countries in the Global South weigh a wider range of infrastructure partners rather than relying on a single bloc of suppliers. ATLAS’s presentation of the system to delegations from partner countries at INNOPROM signals its ambition to compete internationally, not only as a storage vendor but as a supplier of integrated data protection for critical infrastructure.
