July 27, 2013 (Sat): The Integrated Content Development Programme (ICON) was established in 2009 to facilitate the development of Malaysia’s content industry. The primary objective is to provide support and assistance to local content developers in creating quality web and mobile applications.
Following the successes of the ICON and ICON2 programmes, Multimedia Development Corp (MDeC) on Thursday launched ICON3 to drive the Malaysian web and mobile application development industry to global standards especially in enterprise app development.
MDeC is allocating RM3 million worth of grants for ICON3 and it targets a 20 per cent increase in revenue generated over ECON2, of RM100,000, the Sun Daily reported. For info about ICON3, please visit www.mscmalaysia.my/icon3.
