RHB relies on re-branded credit card to increase market share

RHB Bank launched its re-branded RHB EVO credit card that offers cash rebate up to 50 per cent on the transactions spent on entertainment to its customers.

The director for retail banking of RHB Bank Vince Au Yoong said they expected the new RHB EVO credit card will bring additional 40,000 new card holders to RHB Bank in the next 12 months. Au Yoong added that RHB Bank expects to increase its current market share of 6 per cent to 15 per cent of the credit card market by 2017.
