Rakuten teams up with AmBank to boost local e-commerce
KUALA LUMPUR: Ambank (M) Berhad and Rakuten Online Shopping have entered into a one-year partnership agreement, encouraging AmBank customers to shop online from Rakuten Online Shopping merchants with wide range of rewards. Under the agreement, a series of joint promotions on the e-commerce platform will be implemented, starting February 1. The first promotion launched is “AmOnline-Rakuten Shop & Win”.
AmBank expected this partnership can double its online transaction to 20 per cent by the end of the year, through payment instruments of AmOnline and AmBank credit card.
