Rebecca PY MALAYSIA, 2 SEPTEMBER 2026 – Proof of Knowledge (POK), a technology venture developed from Kuala Lumpur for global markets, today announced that it is preparing its enterprise information-verification platform for commercial validation. The platform is designed to establish digital content provenance by tracking where information originated, whether it has been altered, which version is current, and how it was validated.
The venture addresses an urgent business challenge across corporate environments, where critical content like financial results, corporate policies, and safety procedures regularly moves through websites, messaging services, and generative AI platforms. Outdated or altered documents can cause severe financial loss, regulatory exposure, and operational disruption. POK provides verifiable evidence around source integrity, version history, and lifecycle status rather than claiming to evaluate absolute truth.
“We are not trying to build a system that decides what is true. That would be an extraordinary claim,” said Jordan Richards, co-founder of Proof of Knowledge. “We are asking something more practical: can you show where this information came from, whether it has changed, which version was approved and whether it has since been replaced?”
Co-founded by Richards and Cory Cannon, CEO of knowledge-management consultancy Knoco, POK operates alongside existing enterprise systems without requiring a centralized data repository. The platform generates a unique digital fingerprint for files, enabling organizations to trace approval history and track whether content is active or superseded. The technology supports both traditional document management and enterprise AI applications by preventing models from relying on unverified or expired sources.
Developed out of Kuala Lumpur, POK plans to establish its corporate headquarters in Delaware to spearhead international expansion while maintaining technical product development in Malaysia. Core aspects of the platform are currently the subject of a pending U.S. patent application. As it moves toward commercial validation, the company is inviting select enterprise partners to participate in pilot programs.
