MALAYSIA, 4 NOVEMBER 2026 – Princeton Digital Group, a premier pan-Asian data center provider, has finalized a 1.3 billion USD green financing facility to fuel the continuous growth of its flagship JH1 campus situated in Johor, Malaysia.
The syndication was underwritten by a consortium of six prominent financial institutions, comprising Affin Bank, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, Standard Chartered, and UOB. This new capital facility builds directly upon earlier funding rounds, which initially launched with three lenders in April 2024 before expanding to four banking partners in October 2025. The freshly mobilized funds are earmarked to accelerate infrastructure development and increase capacity across the asset.
Organized under Princeton Digital Group’s established Green Finance Framework, the facility ensures all construction and scaling operations align with recognized international environmental benchmarks. The JH1 facility holds multiple industry credentials, including a Green Building Index Gold rating for design and a LEED Gold certification for operational efficiency, underscoring the company’s focus on low-impact, energy-efficient technological real estate.
This transaction represents a major milestone in Princeton Digital Group’s broader capital program announced in March 2026, which targets up to 5 billion USD in debt financing to fulfill contracted hyperscale capacity throughout Asia Pacific.
According to Rangu Salgame, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder of Princeton Digital Group, the successful transaction underscores strong institutional trust in the company’s delivery track record, long-standing hyperscaler relationships, and sustainable operational design.
Situated inside Sedenak Tech Park, JH1 is engineered as a 200-megawatt hub optimized to manage power-intensive artificial intelligence clusters and massive enterprise cloud applications. Since establishing its presence in Johor in 2023, the operator has prioritized local supply chain integration, regional talent acquisition, and long-term socio-economic programs.
Princeton Digital Group operates with institutional backing from major global investment firms, including Warburg Pincus, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Mubadala, and Stonepeak, overseeing a diversified footprint that exceeds 1.8 gigawatts across eight regional markets.
