Sept 30, 2013 (Mon): To celebrate the achievement of 3 millionth download last Thursday, PrestaShop has formed a partnership with Trees for the Future in an effort to give back to this gorgeous world. The PrestaShop team will plant 3,000 trees throughout the remainder of 2013 to make a conscious effort to print less, use recycled materials and reduce carbon footprint in all business aspects.
Prestashop founded in 2007, now has nearly 80 PrestaTeam members between Paris and Miami, over 150 thousand active online stores and nearly 600 thousand community members.
In the same week, PrestaShop also unveiled the first images and details of its upcoming and much anticipated PrestaShop version 1.6. The new version of PrestaShop is expected to be released at the end of 2013 and it will come with three key enhancements:
- A new sponse Front Office template;
- A new responses Back Office; and
- A Dashboard designed to better manage your business.
