4 July 2024 – The Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) 2024 Malaysia celebrated a night of innovation, resilience, and inclusive growth on June 7 at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur. Organized annually by Enterprise Asia across 16 markets, the APEA serves as Asia’s largest award networking platform. This year’s theme, “Celebrating Inclusive Entrepreneurship,” honored visionary leaders and enterprises that have significantly contributed to fostering an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem in Malaysia.
PM-International Malaysia emerged as a notable awardee, securing accolades in both the Corporate Excellence and Inspirational Brand categories. Additionally, the company’s CEO, Mr. Paul Yung Ken Hoe, was recognized as a Master Entrepreneur. Founded in 2003, PM-International Malaysia has distinguished itself in the nutrition and food supplement industry, boasting a loyal customer base of 45,000 Malaysians over 21 years.
Mr. Paul Yung, a dedicated leader, has spent much of his career with PM-International, including an internship at the company’s European Headquarters in Germany. In 2016, he acquired the Malaysian franchise and has since led the company to achieve significant milestones, including consistent revenue growth and an expansion of their headquarters from one to six shop lots. Under his leadership, PM-International Malaysia has received numerous industry awards for product excellence, customer satisfaction, and corporate social responsibility.
In 2020, PM-International Malaysia embarked on a digital transformation journey, conducting 500 Zoom trainings with over 250,000 participants. The company also acquired a new 35,000-square-foot facility in 2022 and celebrated its 20th anniversary Congress in MITEC with 2,000 attendees in 2023. Their efforts have resulted in RM78 million in revenue, 4,000 distributors, and 45,000 customers.
