Recently Indonesia’ online payment companies, DOKU and iPayMu, both announced their partnership with PayPal, the leading global online payment service. Through the partnership with PayPal, these local online payment companies’ merchants will be able to accept payments using PayPal in addition to their current payment options offered to the merchants.
Indonesian merchants will be charged 2.4% – 3.9% transaction fee plus US$0.30 for accepting payment via PayPal. The merchants can withdraw fund from their PayPal account to their bank account with a withdrawal fee of Rp 16.000 IDR for withdrawals below Rp1.499.999 IDR and free for Rp1.500.000 IDR and above.
