Malaysia’s leading low-cost carrier AirAsia and the leading credit card issuer Citibank launched co-brand credit cards, AirAsia-Citibank Platinum Visa and AirAsia-Citibank Gold Visa that entitle the card members with free travel protection insurance, priority booking, more BIG points earned, free to pick a seat, free in-flight meals and more privileges as stated in www.citibank.com.my/airasia.
The co-brand partnership is not new between both parties. Before the launch of these new co-brand card, AirAsia-Citibank credit card and AirAsia-Citibank MasterCard Gold Card were launched in 2007 and there are about 150,000 card holders using these two cards to date.
