Nutanix has launched its Agentic AI solution, a full-stack platform designed to help enterprises deploy and manage AI agents at scale. The solution integrates infrastructure, platforms and AI services to simplify operations while improving performance, security and cost efficiency.

MALAYSIA, 17 MARCH 2026 – Nutanix has introduced its Agentic AI solution, a comprehensive software stack aimed at accelerating enterprise adoption of agent-driven artificial intelligence and enabling large-scale AI operations.

As organisations shift toward Agentic AI, the challenge is no longer building models or individual agents, but managing the complex infrastructure required to run thousands of AI agents securely and efficiently. Enterprises are increasingly seeking solutions that can support AI factories, shared environments where AI workloads are developed, deployed and managed at scale.

The Nutanix Agentic AI solution addresses this need by integrating infrastructure orchestration, AI platform services and developer tools into a unified cloud operating model. It extends core technologies such as its hypervisor, virtual networking and Kubernetes platform, allowing enterprises to build, operate and govern AI factories while supporting developers with access to models and AI services.

A key component of the solution is its integration with NVIDIA AI Enterprise, enabling compatibility with a broader ecosystem of AI infrastructure. The platform also incorporates the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit and OpenShell runtime to support the development of autonomous AI agents in enterprise environments.

The solution includes AI Platform-as-a-Service capabilities and Models-as-a-Service, allowing data scientists and developers to run, fine-tune and deploy models more efficiently. Enhancements to Nutanix Enterprise AI introduce an AI Gateway for unified policy control across both private and cloud-based large language models, alongside support for the Model Context Protocol to enable secure connections between AI agents and enterprise data sources.

Nutanix has also expanded its Kubernetes platform with a catalog of pre-built open-source AI tools, including notebooks, vector databases, MLOps engines and agent frameworks. These integrations aim to simplify development workflows while accelerating the deployment of production-ready AI applications.

On the infrastructure side, the platform introduces performance and security optimisations, including GPU-aware resource allocation and enhanced networking capabilities using data processing units. These features are designed to maximise performance, improve workload isolation and reduce operational costs, including lowering the cost per token for AI workloads.

The solution also incorporates foundational data services built on high-performance storage systems, enabling scalable and low-latency data access for AI workloads across thousands of GPU clients. This supports the growing demand for data-intensive AI applications such as real-time inference and retrieval-augmented generation.

The launch is supported by a broad ecosystem of partners, including Dell Technologies, Cisco, Lenovo, Supermicro, Accenture, Tata Consultancy Services, and Fujitsu. These collaborations enable enterprises to deploy AI factories on validated infrastructure platforms while simplifying integration and scaling.

Industry analysts note that as enterprises move from AI experimentation to production, integrated solutions that combine infrastructure, platforms and services will play a critical role in reducing complexity and accelerating deployment.

With the introduction of its Agentic AI stack, Nutanix aims to position itself at the centre of enterprise AI transformation, providing organisations with a unified foundation to build, scale and manage next-generation AI applications.
