Nutanix has acquired France-based compute orchestration platform Ryax Technologies to accelerate enterprise adoption of agentic artificial intelligence. The integration equips organizations with intelligent GPU resource optimization and smart scheduling to run AI workloads efficiently across hybrid cloud environments.

MALAYSIA, 25 SEPTEMBER 2026 – Nutanix, a global hybrid cloud leader and artificial intelligence platform provider, has announced the acquisition of Ryax Technologies, an AI-driven compute orchestration and management platform company based in France.

The acquisition accelerates the strategy of Nutanix to empower enterprises in building, running, and governing agentic AI anywhere. By integrating the advanced GPU utilization and smart scheduling capabilities of the Ryax platform directly into Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) and Nutanix Enterprise AI (NAI), the combined entity addresses the growing infrastructure bottlenecks faced by modern digital enterprises.

The rapid expansion of agentic AI has driven an unprecedented surge in demand for efficient inference workloads. However, global GPU shortages and fragmented infrastructure have forced many organizations to split their compute footprint across private data centers, hyperscalers, and neoclouds. To make these multi-environment deployments economically viable, businesses require a unified hybrid cloud operating model that abstracts backend complexity while maximizing hardware efficiency.

Many enterprise organizations struggle to transition AI projects from experimentation to full production due to heavy infrastructure integration requirements and tedious manual configuration. The Ryax platform resolves these bottlenecks by automating underlying infrastructure, data pipelines, hardware assets, and code execution. This allows enterprise IT teams to deploy AI projects faster, with greater reliability and reduced cost.

Through this acquisition, Nutanix focuses on delivering two critical architectural capabilities:

  • Intelligent Resource Optimization: Enables organizations to maximize computing resources, including GPUs and CPUs, boosting overall system performance while minimizing hardware waste.
  • AI-Aware Smart Scheduling: Automatically routes AI workloads to the most cost-effective hardware, balancing high-performance demands with strict budget controls.
  • The Ryax platform was built to give enterprises seamless execution across hybrid infrastructure, handling backend complexity so teams can deploy, scale, and manage AI workflows from day one, said Andry Razafinjatovo, Chief Executive Officer of Ryax Technologies. He added that combining their technology and talent with Nutanix will further empower organizations to accelerate agentic AI initiatives wherever their infrastructure lives.

Agentic AI requires a flexible architecture, simple operations, and the ability to use infrastructure far more efficiently, said Rajiv Ramaswami, Chief Executive Officer of Nutanix. He noted that the acquisition directly answers the challenges enterprises face today with agentic AI infrastructure management, marking an exciting milestone in simplifying enterprise AI at scale.

Nutanix plans to integrate the Ryax platform into future commercial releases of NKP and NAI. The Ryax team will join Nutanix operations in France to drive the technology forward. Financial terms were undisclosed, with the transaction noted as non-material to the financial results of Nutanix.
