Nuren Group Launches Motherhood SuperApp, Empowering Women in Digital Trade and Entrepreneurship

Nuren Group launched the Motherhood SuperApp at MIHAS 2024, a key initiative aimed at empowering women in digital trade and entrepreneurship, supported by MITI. Through innovative platforms and training programs, Nuren Group is committed to fostering women’s participation and leadership in the digital economy.


24 September 2024 – Nuren Group recently showcased its dedication to empowering women in digital trade by hosting a Pocket Talk at the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2024, held at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur. The event highlighted Nuren Group’s initiatives aimed at boosting women’s roles in the digital economy through innovation, entrepreneurship, and community building.

A key moment at the event was the launch of the Motherhood SuperApp, officiated by YBhg. Datuk Bahria Mohd Tamil, Deputy Secretary General (Investment and Management) of the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI). The SuperApp is designed to empower women in digital trade, connecting mothers with essential services and offering opportunities for female gig workers. Nuren Group’s platforms, including Motherhood.com.my, Kelabmama.com, Ibuencer.com, and the Motherhood Parenting SuperApp, provide valuable resources and tools for mothers to excel as both caregivers and professionals.

The launch event also featured the announcement of several initiatives to help women entrepreneurs and gig workers thrive. Nuren Group has committed to training 10,000 women in digital trade over the next three years, with a strong focus on enhancing female-led businesses in the digital marketplace. This aligns with MATRADE’s Women Exporters Development Programme, which supports female exporters by facilitating global market access and removing trade barriers.

Further, Nuren Group’s Motherhood Care+ is revolutionizing maternity care by connecting mothers to essential services like confinement care, nannies, and wellness providers, raising the standard of care during and after pregnancy. The Group’s commitment to women’s empowerment in digital commerce and entrepreneurship reflects their vision to shape an inclusive and prosperous future for women in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia.
