NTT DATA Payment Services has launched the ADAPTIS Soundbox across Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand—a compact, voice-enabled payment device designed to simplify and speed up transactions for SMEs and retailers. With real-time audible alerts and multi-payment support, the Soundbox aims to enhance customer experience during peak business hours.
MALAYSIA, 31 JULY 2025 – NTT DATA Payment Services today introduced the ADAPTIS Soundbox, a compact, voice-enabled payment device designed to streamline digital transactions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), retailers, and F&B outlets across Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. This marks the first regional rollout of its kind in Southeast Asia.
Engineered for high-volume retail environments, the ADAPTIS Soundbox allows merchants to accept payments via QR codes, contactless cards, and e-Wallets—providing fast and reliable confirmation through audible voice alerts. This eliminates the need for merchants to check screens or printed receipts, particularly during peak hours, helping ensure secure, error-free transactions.

The device is plug-and-play, requiring no technical setup, and is offered with no rental fees, no minimum transaction commitments, and a one-time introductory price. In Malaysia, delivery is guaranteed within one working day of registration.
In addition to a QR-based e-Receipt feature that supports environmental sustainability, the Soundbox includes a real-time online dashboard for easy tracking and reconciliation of transactions.
